Am i wasting my time hoping i might find clothing that will fit me? Even in the fashionable shops in Ginza do they only make small sizes? Remember, in Japan , even if the tag is XL, most brands are Asian sized, so the proportions are smaller and the the size is usually one size smaller. So XL really means L. I'll end off with this post which I thought was kind of rude because she basically insulted asian sizing as being doll-sized or kid-sized, when the fact is simply that most asians and most caucasians are just of different sizes and I don't think we should be insulted as being kid-sized or three feet tall, BUT it does basically demonstrate the problem of tiny arm holes and tiny lengths etc.

I mainly wear one or two sizes bigger than what I usually would back home. So a Canada medium is a large or xl in China. If it is a random local brand, it might vary, I once bought a tracksuit who was xxxl.

Converting Asian Sizes to US Sizes In Your Store Once you’ve obtained the measurements which you need to convert your store’s products from Asian sizes to US sizes it’s your responsibility to ensure that your customers can easily find this information and order the correct sized products. If you're a US size L I'd say you're completely sized out, unless you can literally give your measurements to the seller on aliexpress and they recommend you a size XXL or XXXL or something(it exists in some kinds of more expensive asian clothing.). There's no international standard for clothing sizes. The system of dress sizing used in the United States of even numbers or of XS-XL is completely different from the Asian systems of sizing.
